Dave waved Kurt over as he walked across the beach, opening his arms as the other boy laid down beside him.
“Babe, this is the beach, I told you that on the phone didn’t I? I mean, you know what a beach is, right?”
“Of course you did. And I’m not stupid, I know what a beach is.”
“So… Why are you dressed like that?” he asked as he leaned down, brushing a kiss against Kurt’s temple.
“Are you questioning my clothing choices, David?” Kurt raised his eyebrow.
Dave laughed at Kurt’s threatening look. “You look hot in whatever you wear, trust me. But the beach usually means swim trunks and flip flops, dude.”
Kurt just rolled his eyes. “Every moment is an opportunity for fashion. I don’t do flip flops.”
Dave leaned in towards Kurt’s ear. “Damn. And I was hoping to see you shirtless,” he whispered.
“Well, unless you have a gallon of sunscreen, I’ll keep my shirt on. Besides, I might blind all the beach-goers,” Kurt replied, shivering a little at Dave’s hot breath on his neck.
“Well, we could always save taking your clothes off for when we go back to my house.” Dave said nonchalantly, leaning back and propping himself up on his elbow.
“Ooh, I think I can handle that,” he giggled, turning to let Dave see his wink.
“Ha, that right, Fancy?” Dave growled, pulling Kurt closer to him.
“Yeah, that’s right.” He pulled Dave’s arm around his waist as he laid his head back and looked at the sky. “Now shh, I’m channeling Judy.”
Dave looked at him, puzzled. “Um.. What?”
“She’s over the rainbow.” Dave laughed as Kurt recited Dorothy’s line. “Behind the moon, beyond the rain… Stop laughing and let me have my moment.
Dave let out one last chuckle. “You’re too fucking adorable.”
